Movie Plot: Following the events of the original film, the people of Newt, Texas, led by Mayor Burt Hartman (Paul Roy), burned the farmhouse of the deadly Sawyer clan in an act of vigilante justice. The arsonists are declared the hero of the community, and the entire Sawair family is killed. However, Edith Rose Sawyer, a city dweller found by Gavin Miller, immediately murdered her mother Loretta Sawyer. Gavin and his wife Arlene take care of the girl and raise her as their daughter.
Decades later, Heather (Alexandra Dedario) discovers that her grandmother Varna Carson has passed away after she received a letter. Heather, her boyfriend Ryan (Trey Soonz), her best friend Nikki, and Nikki’s boyfriend Kenny go to her grandmother’s house in Newt to collect her legacy. On the way, the group picks up a hitchhiker named Darryl. Upon arriving, Heather is given a letter that she neglects to read. As the group search for the house, they decide to stay overnight. Heather and her friends go out to buy food and supplies, leaving Darryl behind to take care of the house. Darryl starts stealing valuables and is killed by an elderly leatherface (Dan Yeger) in the basement.
