South Carolina and Democratic Congress President Frank Underwood, power-hungry by a Majority majority, celebrated the election of President Garrett Walker, who he appointed as secretary of state for his campaign. However, Underwood knows that the president wants him to promote his agenda in Congress and not respect his agreement. Internally different, Underwood presents himself as Walker’s assistant lieutenant. In fact, Underwood launched a detailed plan behind the president’s bench, with the ultimate goal of securing a cabinet post. Frank’s wife Claire runs an NGO, Clean Water Initiative, which she uses to cultivate her power, yet its ultimate purpose is unknown. Despite the success of the operation, Claire wants to expand its scope internationally, often using Frank’s connection. It is clear from the start that Claire shares both her husband’s cold heart, cruel pragmatism and lust for power, and they often plan together to ensure each other’s success. They both work with Remy Denton, a corporate lobbyist and former Underwood employee, to secure funds for their operations and expand their influence.

Underwood initiates a symbiosis, and ultimately speaks to the public opinion necessary for sexual, sexual relationship with Zoe Barnes, a young political reporter, secretly feeding his damaging stories about his political rivals. Underwood helped Rousseff clean up and promoted his candidacy, but later uses call girl Rachael Posner to break his glory and trigger his downfall shortly before he wins the election. When Ruso decides to come clean about his role in Underwood’s plans, Frank kills Ruso and treats his death as suicide. With special elections in chaos, Underwood refuses to step down as vice president and runs for his old post of governor – leaving the vice president open to Underwood, as was his plan. Underwood is introduced to Missouri billionaire Raymond Tusk, Walker’s friend and consultant. Tusk disclosed that he is influencing Walker’s decisions with everyone and refusing to cancel him the original agreement, and explains that he will nominate Walker to be vice president to influence Walker if he benefits Tusk’s interests Picks. Underwood countered Tusk that he would work together to serve his two interests, which Tusk acknowledges. Meanwhile, after Underwood ended his case, Zoe Underwood began to peak together with clues about various plots. Seedwood accepted the nomination for Vice President of the United States.
